Formed in 2008, when independent brokers from Dallas, Houston, Oklahoma City and San Antonio joined forces, Lakeland has since grown to over 100 employees in 12 regions: Atlanta, Jackson, Lubbock, Longview, Mississippi, New Orleans, Albuquerque, Denver and Little Rock. With the recent alliance with D. R. Johnson, LAKELAND expands into the convenience store class of trade.
Unlike some of our competitors, each of our offices is operated by a local owner. Local ownership fosters accountability, regional strength, relationships and results. Our organization is comprised of Management, Sales Representatives, Corporate Chefs, and Administrative / Customer Support staff and a Marketing + Advertising department.
Our vision of regional foodservice sales is to build a firm foundation across all of our regions. Future plans include expanding into new markets each year and becoming more uniform in vendor representation. Our current goals include solidifying our foundation and growing by introducing our manufacturers’ products into our new locations. Additionally, we are committed to protecting our environment and serving our communities.
